The Hits just keep rolling - NJ Attorney General files complaint against Psychologist
The New Jersey Attorney General’s office has filed a complaint against a local Psychologist who who has frequently served as an expert in criminal child abuse cases. The complaint claims she coached a 3-year old girl to make false accusations of sexual abuse by the girls father.
The complaints are against Marsha Kleinman, who denies the charges. The complaint states she used “Gross professional malpractice” when she treated the child over a 17 month period. 17 months? Is one child a career?
According to Kleinman “It’s a concerted effort by these groups to shut professionals across the country from accurately reporting and treating children who disclose sexual abuse by a parent,” said Marsha J. Kleinman, a borough resident and the respondent in a five-count complaint filed by the office of Deputy Attorney General Michael S. Rubin on Friday. “I feel confident that psychologists and other professionals, including physicians, will be able to continue to do the important work they do.”
Interesting, don’t these same groups claim its a concerted effort by custodial parents and the DV industry to strip non-custodial parents of their rights to be involved in the lives of their children by creating false accusations.
The complaint states Kleinman “failed to separate the roles of therapist and forensic investigator” by questioning the child about the alleged abuse during one or more sessions in which she was supposed to be conducting play therapy. And isn’t that the issue we see time and time again. A parent takes a child to see a counselor, and it turns into a witch hunt, a hunt for money by the professional, and witches stiring the pot to gain full custody of a child and eliminate the other parent.
This psychologist was recommended by the courts, it all makes you wonder how she chose this particular professional for the evaluation, and what relationship exists between her and the courts. I hope someone in New Jersey starts snooping into records of the state to find out what really is going on in their local courts.

This NJ psychologist has countless victims. I am sure when they open the books on her, they are going to be amazed! She’s preyed on innocent children implanted memories of sexual abuse to fulfill her own psychotic agenda-ripping parents, mostly dads, but some moms away from their children. She gets the judges to cut off all contact with the fathers so she can “heal” the child. In the process, she lines her own pockets because she has to work with the child over a long period of time. The parent child relationship is destroyed after this. She belongs in jail now. Believe it or not, she’s still able to practice because she has due process until the hearing. I’m sure she’s destroying some little child as we speak.!

These professionals pray on people for their hard earned money. The more false accussations that are made against non custodial parents, the more referrals they get from judges. If you are conservative and honest in your reviews and custody determinations the less business will be given. This is a churning industry someone has to pay and the children are the ultimate victims of these profiteers.

One of the things that I find most disturbing, is that studies show, that implanting a child’s memories with false recollection of sexual abuse, is just as damaging to a child, as if they truly had been sexually abused. This according to the book “Divorce Poison” by Dr. Richard A.Warshak.
How many mothers out of ignorance, have committed the very trauma against their own children, they claim they are devoted to protecting them from, just to gain an unfair advantage in custody?
However Marsha Kleinman, is certain to be privy to this knowledge. In essence this suggests that Marsha is no different than the most heinous sort of child molester. I certainly hope that the New Jersey Attorney General prosecutes with the same mindset.

I commend this therapist. She is not defending abusive adults. She is defending children.
Abusers love to try to shut up people who expose them. It’s time to give these innocent children a voice in spite of the vitriolic responses of those who abuse and freak out at losing control.

Public policy of NJ: Protection of child victims of violence and maltreatment must be the paramount concern of the courts.
When the courts consider this public policy stance with the state of information concerning the debilitating effects of exposure to violence and maltreatment, the rational for limited, supervised contact or no contact between a perpetrator and her child victim is obvious.
Kleinmen is in a position of power and control over the children that she sees. Klienmen has used this position of power and control for profit and reward and to continue her battering of children.
Children need protection.
Marsha Kleinman is an abuser and should be jailed for the mental abuse she has committed against this child. Why this women is allowed to see any child a this point is a crime in it self.

Then, how do you hold judges and staff of the courts accountable for their continued abuse of children? Or are they immune?
To remove a loving parent from the life of a child is all by itself a form of abuse to the child, and the entire family. And, you are removing a significant piece of the family that is part of the check and balance required to ensure the child is not abused.
Title IV-D is the biggest perpetuator of Family and Child abuse ever concocted.

Why is this women not arrested already???
How many other children did she abuse and why are criminal charges not slapped on this women immediately.
My husbands x wife is constantly making accusations against him in order to get her way with his children. Every time she does this the police are at the door with arrest warrents and charges based on her word even though every claim was always proven to be false.
This women Kleimen has abused a child and still no arrests ???
Why is that???

I also commend anyone that protects children. However, false accusations against a parent, and professionals exploiting children is just another form of child abuse.
IF, and say again, IF, she did in fact do what she did to this child, do you still commend her for her abusive behavior both to the child and the parent?
We can only assume that if a state agency has done their investigation and filed the complaint that they did that there is a basis for their complaint. IF she is not a responsible professional, she needs to be removed before she does more harm.
And for anyone, including yourself Julia, to blindly support someone that portends to be for children is irresponsible and ridiculous.

As a parent we all believe that truly sexually abused children need a voice and need to be protected but it doesn’t mean a psychologist can make up claims about one parent or the other. Then report findings in a bias manor.
If the proof against Kleinmen is valid, wouldn’t that make Kleinmen the abusive person at this point and that she is attempting to shut out people who believe in the protection children?
Could it be Kleinmen is freaking out because she is loosing control?
If Kleinmen abused her power as a psychologist once she probably has done it before, so every case she has delt with in the past needs to be opened and investigated.

This is just my take on this situation when a mother, father, therapist,etc. lodges false alligations of sexual abuse and gets the child to 1)repeat the story they told them to say 2) have the child undergo therapy for sexual abuse that did not happen 3) actually are able to convince the child they were molested, they should be charged with sexual abuse of a minor. They should have to go to jail and should have to register as a sexual offender just as the person the false claim would have had to do if indeed the child was sexually abused. I think this because studies show that telling a child they were sexually abused when in fact they were not is just as bad as if the child was sexually abused. It has the same psychological effect on them theirfore same effect on the child = same punishment. In general when people who are suppose to be protecting children from abuse actually cause abuse they should be held accountable the same way a parent would be treated if they indeed abused a child. Therapists like this make me sick! What she did is child abuse and she should be held accountable and all the cases where she treated the child should be retried. All her files should be gone over with a fine tooth comb. They should at least try to fix the mess she made.

Yes Debbie, you are right on. Unfortunately too many women are coached by lawyers, therapist and other less then ethical people people to make false claims knowing they will get away with it and will not be held accountable by the courts.
Meanwhile the children suffer as well as the women who are the second wives.

Mary Johnson– I am the live in girlfriend with a child by the man whose first wife has lodged complaints of sexual abuse only she claimed them against my 9 year old at the time child. She states that my 9 year old sexually abused her 6 year old theirfore she needs custody of the 6 year old to protect her from my child. Twisted and sick I know. But this story hits home to me because my child has been to 2 therapists now both saying this child has not been sexually abused nor is she abusing others. Also my child weighs in at tops 65lbs and hers is at least 160 and the same hight. Anytime they got into it my daughter walked away injured. The ex wife took her daughter to the therapist that my boyfriend already put her in for a whle before we even met eachother and the ex told the child to say that my child molested her. This child never told us the child was molesting her in fact when we questioned her about it and asked her why she was saying this she said “because my mother told me to say this to these people.” The therapist had her treated for sexual abuse that didn’t happen for over a year now. The child at this point probably does believe she was sexually abused. Also this therapist never called us to say that it was a possibility that my child might have molested the other one. The only place we heard this from was the mom who had already by this point filed domestic violance charges on my boyfriend which got thrown out of court. The judge said nothing in that petition was domestic violance and to knock it off. She did and jumped to sexual abuse. So we already knew everything out of this womans mouth was a load of crap. When the mom started calling cps on us to report this they at first found the alligation “unfounded” then because she called so often they labled it as “founded” Now cps took the child out of the home (her child) and my boyfriend gets 2 hours a week visitation supervised. They want me to treat my child like a sexual preditor because the other child has made the statement that my daugher molested her and there isno other evidance that this could have occured. I’d also like to point out that this womans sister pulled this on the father of her daughter claiming he molested the daughter and that case was thrown out of court. She was never procuted for purgery either! The ex wife in this case probably wont neither. This has not only dammaged my boyfriends daughter but mine as well. She says things to me like “why does everyone always think I’m a lier when I didn’t lie” “Why does everyone believe x when she is lieing” ” should I just lie and say I did it so they will stop coming around asking questions” So from what I see the therapist that treated my boyfriends daughter, her mother, the cps social worker should all be tried for sexual abuse on his daughter, pergery, and emotional abuse on my daughter.
I just don’t think this woman will ever undersand what she has done to not only her child but mine and even worse yet she will never be held accountable for her actions. By the way this case is no longer in family court due to a new law passed in my state all alligations of abuse get the case kicked out of family court and they go to circut court for proceution. So now she is lieing in circut court and we are being charged with ‘abuse/neglect’ due to our failure to “protect the child from sexual abuse” well how can you protect a child or fail to protect a child from abuse that isn’t happening? So I know where your coming from Mary.

I had a chance to read the actual COMPLAINT filed by the NJ Attorney General on your www.ussharedparenting.com website. I found the allegations shocking to say the least.
If it were me and the allegations proved true, this woman should be behind bars to live out the rest of her pitiful twisted and evil life. How many innocent children has she affected??? Does anyone know??

My two children were directed to be evaluated by Marsha Kleinman by a Judge who knew Marsha Kleinman’s father and sister, who is also an attorney. My kids told me they didn’t want to go to her anymore because she was trying to make them say bad things about me, that I “did things” to them. Too long a story to detail here. I fought in court to have Kleinman removed from seeing my kids. It took a lot of time, tears and money to get this horrible woman out of the picture. It was not easy and she did a lot of damage to me and my children. This “therapist” and I use the term loosely, should have her license taken away. When I read the newspaper about her recent victim, it brought back horrifc memories. She has destroyed the lives of many people and many children, under the guise of “helping them”. She IS NOT, I repeat, she IS NOT, an advocate for children. She is a sick person who should not be in the profession she is in.

Marsha Kleinman has been abusing children and their families for over 15 years. I know for a fact the situations of several children she has abused. Her actions have repeatedly been grossly negligent and highly unethical. There is a requirement in the NJ and APA ethical standards for psychologists that any and all psychologists refer any client to another psychologist when the psychologist is dealing with the same or similar issue in his/her life. It is a matter of public record that she falsely accused her own husband of abusing their infant daughter. He did not. At the same time as she was accusing her husband she was accusing another man of abusing his 3 yo daughter. He did not. I know quite intimately the story of this little 3 yo girl. I could write pages of pages of factual information about that case. Too many children and famlies have been irreparably damaged by Marsha Kleiman. It is about time she is held accountable for her malpractice and it is long overdue that she lose her license.

Marsha Kleinman was hired by the mother of my child as an expert during a custody battle. MK testified and wrote in a report that I not only mentally abused my child but also sexually abused my other children. MK further testified that through her testing of the mother that she experienced PTSD and Battered woman syndrome. It was funny that none of these allegations came into light until MK got involved. However, the court appointed PSY found MK’s test results and interviews with the mother to be inconclusive. The PSY also uncovered, that the mother was prepped by MK on how to take the MMPI to favor her allegations. The mother, shared this info. with the court PSY. Of course, MK denied all this. There was also suspicion that the MK was seeing my child, without my knowledge, and coaching my child to be agressive by hitting dolls and saying” bad daddy”..I don’t know if this info. helps the AG but this woman needs to be stripped of her license.

this week on the Marsha Kleinmen sexual abuse case.
Ms. Kleinmen believes she is a victim of Fathers Rights groups who are targeting her.
Kleinmen’s attorney friend who profits from divorce litigation says that this is being done to “send a chilling signal” to the Phycholigist community not to follow up on sex abuse cases.
Clearly both are lame excuses for the abuse that Marsha Kleinmen perpetrates against this young child. Kleinmen is using a tapping technique put the child under a trance in order to implant suggestions of sexual abuse.
What parent would approve of their child being subjected to this abuse?
What ethical lawyer would allow their child to be victim of such abuse?
This is an example of what all
parents need to be aware of when subjecting their children to court
appointed (favorite son/daughter Phycholigists) .
Parents need to verify the backround of any person they subject
their children to espcially during divorce litigation.
Mandate to you attorney or the Judge in your case that you want protection for
your child from this kind of situation having all secession video
taped. Do not let you children near a theripist unless you get a
full and up to date backround check with the Board of Phychological
examiners, law enforcement and a list of referrals who you can speak
with.
If any person has had similar experences which custody evaluators
during their divorce please step foward.
The Citizens of NJ are demanding that the Family Courts release
their criteria for choosing Phycholigist that are exposed to our
children.

Marsha Kleinman has a documented 20-year history of child abuse and predation upon those most unable to help themselves.
As an experienced sociopath and con artist, she has managed to remain under the radar until last year, when her arrogance in filming her abuse caused such outrage that NJ was forced to review the entire licensing procedure and pass new regulations to deal with people like her. She has left a swath of destruction, attempted and successful suicides and irreversible child abuse that boggles the mind.
She has used her own child as bait. She has been banned from schools for stalking. The list goes on and on.
One would hope that, finally, the State will do something positive to protect its citizens.
